Donnabelle G. Becktell-Comer

Donnabelle G. Becktell-Comer 92 passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Millers Merry Manor Retirement Home in Garrett IN. She was born April 6, 1928, in Whitley County, IN, to the late G. Cecil and Gladys Crawford. Donnabelle graduated from Coesse High School in 1946. She was a member of Oak Grove Church of God and Parkwood Church of God. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. She is survived by her children, Darrell (Jin) Becktell, Steven L. (Sandra) Becktell, Vivian D. Brady, Lana J. (Roy) Stantz, Lisa A. (Kevin) Ort; siblings, Mary Lou Pittinger, John D. (Judy) Crawford; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. Donnabelle was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert, M Becktell IN 1986 and second husband Donald L. Comer in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Thomas A. Becktell, and Timothy D. Becktell; siblings, Phil M. Crawford, Cecil Crawford, and Dot E. Cox, M. Dick Crawford, Betty A Lawrence, and Gerald Crawford. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 3pm at Oak Grove Church of God (2426 South Raber Road, Columbia City, IN), with visitation 2 hours prior at the church.
