Edgar Stratton Clark Jr.

Edgar Stratton Clark, Jr., 77, of Townhouse Lane, Waynesboro passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was born in Stuarts Draft on February 5, 1943, a son of the late Edgar Stratton, Sr. and Arbutus (Sutton) Clark. Mr. Clark was a veteran of the United Sates Air Force, retired from McQuay International and was a member of Fishersville United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Wilson Memorial High School and loved to fish of which he was awarded the Virginia Angler Hall of Fame Award. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Clark and a brother, Darrell Sutton. Survivors include his wife, Betty Clark; son, Keith Clark and wife, Jennifer; brother, Nolan “Butch” Clark; sister, Ginger Drumheller and husband, David; 3 grandchildren, Kasey Costanzo and husband, Mike, Tiffany Clark, Hunter “Buck” Clark and one great grandchild, Tony Costanzo. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Augusta Memorial Park with Pastors David Chappell and Peter Choi officiating. Military rites will be provided by the United States Air Force. Family members are asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 p.m. on the day of the service to go in procession. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
