Stephen Randolph Williams

Stephen Randolph Williams, age 51, of Chesterfield and Hanover, left his indelible mark on the world before going to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 8, 2021, after a long illness. He is survived by his mother, Truly F. Williams of Chesterfield, Va.; his sisters, Karen Smith of Houston, Tx., Kim Williams of Auburndale, Fl., and January Adams of Jacksonville, Fl.; multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh R. Williams, Jr. Stephen earned a Bachelor’s Degree in IT Security and was inducted into the National Honor Society. He won multiple awards in computer data design and won First Place for the state of Virginia for two consecutive years, which allowed him to compete nationally in Washington and California. Stephen loved playing his guitar and liked playing for others, who enjoyed and admired his good ear and natural ability to play songs he had only heard. Stephen was a kind, gentle, soul who loved technology; Pink Floyd; pizza; and his Grandma Lou. Known as “Steve Randolph” he was instrumental in starting “Karaoke Night” at some of the clubs around Richmond. A celebration of his life will be scheduled for a later date.
