Alice Clyde Barksdale

Alice Clyde Barksdale, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Parkview Hospital Randallia. Born February 19, 1943 in Garrett, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Oudia (Johnson) Andrews. A graduate of Garrett High School, she retired from Kraft Foods in Kendallville after 45 years of service and most recently she was a greeter at Wal-Mart. Alice enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook. Surviving are her son, Chris Barksdale of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Victoria Barksdale and Christopher Barksdale, both of Fort Wayne; siblings, Sarah Thomas of Antwerp, Ohio, Fred K. (Sharon) Andrews of Fort Wayne, and Douglas (Deborah) Andrews of Fort Wayne; sisters-in-law, Margie Andrews of Detroit, Mich., and Debra Andrews of Fort Wayne; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Barksdale; brothers, Elky, Alvin, Stevie, and Rodney Andrews; sister, Betty Andrews; and sister-in-law, Rosemary Andrews.
