Carlo Baietti

Carlo Baietti passed away at 68 on February 13, 2021. Carlo was son of the late Rinaldo Baeitti and Giovanna Brunelli Baietti, born in Bologna, Italy on April 13, 1952. In 1961, the family moved to Detroit, Michigan where his father worked with Alitalia Airlines. The family ultimately moved to Washington, DC in 1968. Carlo is remembered by his family and many close friends for his humor, his love for life, and his great personality. In 1976 he began his career at IDI, from where he retired in 2018. He was a devoted husband, loving father and brother and will be terribly missed. He is survived by his wife Roberta, his son Rinaldo and wife Annette Baietti, daughter Giulia Baietti, his brother Aldo Baietti, his grandchildren, Olivia and Carlo, and his nephew Nicolas Baietti. Due to Covid, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
