Ralph Kenneth Ballowe

Ralph "Kenny" Kenneth Ballowe Sr.,84 of Henrico, VA passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, February 16th 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Florrie Mae Ballowe; Parents, Ruby D. and C.E. “Charlie” Ballowe; Infant granddaughter, Bridget Ballowe; Two infant brothers, Franklin and Ronald Ballowe; brother Athel M. Ballowe; brothers-in-law “Buddy” Justus and Randolph Taylor. He is survived by his wife; Charlotte Meeks Ballowe; five children, Michael Sacre, Donna Krueger (Bill), Kenneth “Pokie” Ballowe Jr. (Robin), Alan Ballowe (Kristy) and Regina Faulkner (Thomas); step-daughters, Anna Meeks and Dawn Meeks-Bowery (Michael); five grandchildren, Scott Sacre, Nina Jones (Jerry), Michael Ballowe, Aaron Paulette (Kala), and Alanna Ballowe; four step-grandchildren, Noah and Alexis Bowery and Cody and Celsey Day; one great-granddaughter, Summer Paulette; two step-great-grands, Natileigh & SJ James; brothers, Billy Ballowe (Linda) and Donald Ballowe (Wanda); sisters, Phyllis Justus and Nancy Taylor; Sister-in-law, Vicki Ballowe; numerous nieces and nephews; and one surviving Aunt, Mildred Wright. Kenny served in the United States Air Force as an Airman First Class, 1954 through 1958. He served on the Richmond Police Mounted Squad retiring with 25 years of service. The family will receive friends from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at Woody Funeral Home-Parham. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
