Helen L. (Voirol) Ehinger, 107 passed away Saturday February 20, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Anderson, IN. She was born in Convoy, OH to the late Franklin and Mary M. (Sullivan) Foley. She was an Irish descendant. She earned her Associates degree from International Business. Helen was a secretary at ITT for over 20 years. She was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and the Rosary Solidarity, and a senior club member of Harvest House. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed big band music and love to dance and her favorite color was pink.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Julia Bowers of Anderson, IN; grandchildren, Michelle (Fred) Spinks, Adam (Misty) Bowers, Meghan (Heath Reason) Bowers, great grandchildren, Tristen and Nevaeh Spinks and Madison and Abby Bowers. Helen is also survived by stepchildren Mary Jo Kirby and Kathleen Dahm, both of Fort Wayne, IN; Monica Gause of Decatur, IN and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her first husband Clarence F Voirol and second husband Herman J. Ehinger.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday February 25, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 4916 Trier Road, Fort Wayne, IN., with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also Thursday February 25, 2021 from 4-6 pm. at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne IN. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
