Lenuel "Len" E. Sherrell
March 4, 1934 – March 1, 2021

Lenuel E. “Len” Sherrell, 86 years of age died Monday March 1, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. Len was a retired truck driver for OK Trucking and a member of Local #89 Teamsters. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War on the Battleships USS Iowa and the Northampton. He was also a member of the First Southern Baptist Church and a member of Greenville Lodge #416 F & AM.
Len was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Elizabeth; parents, Everett M. Sherrell and Burnice A. Hoff; Imogine Sherrell; and a daughter-in-law, Peggy C. Sherrell.
Len is survived by three children, Lisa Baylor (Doug), Brad Sherrell (Jan) and Todd Sherrell (Tina Littleton); special six grandchildren; Clayton Baylor (Lindsey), Cortney Johnson (Jeff), Abigail Helton (David), Nathan Sherrell (Ellen), Tyler Sherrell (Alison) and Brianne Trapp (Brian); eight precious great grandchildren, Bristol Baylor, Aurora Johnson, Blake Sherrell, Brock Baylor, Rhett Johnson, Callen Sherrell, Briggs Sherrell and Meredith Sherrell; two brothers, Leland Sherrell (Sheila) and Barry Sherrell (MiMi); and two sisters, Pam Joyce (Doug) and Linda Johnson (David).
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday March 4, 2021 with Masonic Service at 7:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral Service at 11:00 am Friday in the Kraft Chapel 708 E. Spring Street in New Albany, Indiana burial with full military honors will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
