Larry "Cowboy" D. Haas

Larry D. “Cowboy” Haas, 71, passed away March 6, 2021 after an extended illness. He was born December 6, 1949 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Arthur D. and Marilyn (Smith) Haas and was a Disabled Veteran in the United States Air Force following the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by grandparents; Urbin, Lorena, and Mary Margaret Smith. Alva Ray and Ruth Haas Phillips and Carle Phillips. He is survived by his companion, Betty Willis; a daughter, Nicole Hintay (Ron); seven grandchildren; Mackenzie, Courtny, Ashley, Joshua, Alysa, Easton, and Lily; three sisters, Donna Groan (John), Maggie Ridge, and Barbara Kincaid (Doug), and special caregivers at Serenity Gardens; Lisa, Francis, Paul, Michelle and Debbie. Nieces and nephews; Amy Ridge Proctor, Andy Ridge, Megan Kincaid Shelton, Austin Kincaid, John, Chris and Scott Groan. Visitation will be 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service. Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:00 am Friday, March 12, 2021 at Saint Mary Catholic Church in New Albany. Burial will be in Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana to follow with military honors. Expressions of sympathy to: D.A.V.
