Obituary of Christopher Pyles
Christopher Arnold Pyles was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Joan and Robert Pyles. He had two other siblings, Judy and Matthew (Autumn). Growing up in the Midwest, Christopher always adored music, cars, and basketball. He attended Crispus Attucks and Arsenal Tech High School. From a very young age, he felt that it was his civil duty to enlist in the United States Navy. Traveling and training in Florida, California, and Virginia, he served 2 tours and was discharged honorably in 1985. After serving in the Navy, he picked up a civilian job as a truck driver. After a few years, he met his wife, Lolita in 1997. They married in the Philippines and came back to Indiana. During their marriage, they had 4 boys; Chrislee, Jalan, Shawn, and Deon. He spent his later days tending to the house, raising his children, and living his life in peace and harmony. Chris then became very sick, and fought very hard against illnesses. His family supported him through thick and thin. Some of his favorite hobbies were reading, educating himself, landscaping and watching TV. His favorite books were the Bible and other religious works. His favorite show was Jessie on Disney Channel, Law and Order, and Sanford and Son. He was very thankful for everyone’s support and prayers during the last few years of his life. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
