James "Jim" Thomas Eades Sr.

James “Jim” Thomas Eades, Sr., 75, of Lynchburg, passed away, Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his residence. Twice married, he was the husband of Cynthia Davidson Eades and the late Ellen Fauber Eades.
Born December 28, 1945 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Grace McKinney Eades and was also preceded in death by two sisters. Jim was a retired truck driver with Trailerbridge Trucking of Jacksonville, FL and was a longtime driver with Burlington. He was a member of Jordan Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Cynthia, he is survived by a son, James “Jamie” T. Eades, Jr. and a daughter, Mary Ellen Anthony and husband William, all of Lynchburg; a step-son, Eddie McKenna of Concord : a step-daughter, Deborah Cox and husband Robert of Evington; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Ellen, and James; three step-grandchildren, Heather, Samantha, and Corey and six step-great-grandchildren, Christian, Jason, Halen, Ryan, Jordan, and Miranda.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2021 at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Melvin Campbell officiating.
