Blanche M. Kirchner

Born May 5th, 1922 in Toccoa, Georgia and passed away on April 14th, 2021 in Arlington, Virginia. Blanche was predeceased by her husband, Vincent I. Kirchner; her sister, Margaret D. Thompson; and her brothers, James W. Downs and Joseph A. Downs. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia (Dinah) Brisbane, Betty Downs Kirchner, and Carol Downs Wiles; brothers-in-law, James J. Kirchner, and Howard A. Wiles. Also, her 5 children, Joseph V. (Wendy), Thomas M., Sr. (Angelia), Bernard R. (Francine), Gregory L. (Cindy), and Jane C. Kirchner; 12 grandchildren, Tom, Jr., Leigh, Kristen, Billy, Charles, Allison, Joey, Natalie, Bristol, Benjamin, Sarajeanne, and Katie; and 10 great-grandchildren, Tommy III, Dillon, Christopher, Luke, Keleigh, Bridget, Charles, Sean, Sylvester, and Emily Briggs.
A visitation will be held at Murphy Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, VA 22046 on Sunday, May 16th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Celebration of Life Mass will be on the following day, Monday, May 17th at 3PM at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 5300 10th St. North, Arlington, VA 22205.
