David Tracy Davis

David Tracy Davis, 80, of Roseland, passed away on Tuesday April 20, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Davis was born on September 6, 1940 in Charlottesville and was a son of the late Cecil Homer and Eleanor Elizabeth (Napier) Davis. Farming and gardening were two of his greatest passions. He was also an avid bear hunter, and traveled to several states hunting bear.
On February 11, 1967 he married the former Joyce Small, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Davis is survived by a daughter, Lisa Davis Miller and husband Tommy of Waynesboro; siblings, Paige Davis of Nellysford, Paul Davis of Lyndhurst, Ann Hughes of Stuarts Draft, Betty Groome of Stuarts Draft; a grandson, Cody Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Davis was also preceded in death by a sister, Mickey Desper.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
Burial will be held privately and at a later date.
