Robert "Bob" Dean Timmerman

Robert "Bob" Dean Timmerman, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born January 10, 1931, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to the late Milton Lloyd and Lusettie (Ellis) Timmerman.
Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman; and a longtime member of the Daniel Boone Gun Club. He was a very active member of Christian Fellowship, where he served as an usher. He was also involved with Campers on Missions. Bob served as a Navy Corpsman from 1949 through 1952.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, and daughters, Virginia James and Betsy Berning.
Bob is survived by his wife of 70 years, Velma Timmerman; sons, Robert Timmerman, Jr. (Tina), John Timmerman (Alice); grandchildren, Neil Timmerman, David Timmerman, Emmy Berning, Ben Berning (Ashley), Annie Berning, Bethany Pfeiffer (Jon), Betsy Landis (Marty), Julie James and Jennifer Remaklus (Cody); eight great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, officiated by Pastor Cliff Herring, with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Heritage Chapel.
