Kenneth Noel Michaels

Kenneth Noel Michaels, 80, of Nashville died Friday, April 23, 2021 at Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born October 4, 1940 in Columbus to Elza Michaels and Cora Evelyn Hendershot Michaels. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Doris Ault Michaels of Nashville; two sons, Devin (Cheri) Michaels and Greg Michaels both of Nashville; a daughter, Donna “Dee Dee” Singely; four grandchildren, Kenny Dale Michaels, Dylan (Mandy) Michaels, Jessica (Michael) Grelle and Jami (Jeremy) Mathis; two great grandchildren, Ellie Mae Michaels and Hope Lynne Mathis; a brother, Danny Michaels; a sister, Cora Darlene Roberts; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Steve Michaels; and a daughter-in-law, Tammy Michaels. Kenneth attended Gnaw Bone Wesleyan Church and traveled around to most of the churches in the area playing music. He drove a truck for over 50 years, he enjoyed camping, spending time with his grandchildren and taking them camping and making music, he was well versed on the piano, guitar and mandolin. Funeral Services are scheduled for Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, with Pastor Paul Hardin officiating. Burial will follow at Burkhart Cemetery. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Monday, April 26, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
