Gloria K Carpenter

Gloria K. “Burton” Carpenter August 4, 1921- June 8, 2021 Gloria K. Carpenter, 89, passed away on Tuesday June 8, 2021 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. Born August 4, 1931, in Ft. Wayne, IN. She was the daughter of Theodore and Katherine (Ankenbrand) Burton. She was a domestic engineer for 69 years. Surviving are daughters Linda L. Elliot, Leigh Ann Tilley; 12 grandchildren, 20 great -grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. (Bob) Carpenter and her children, Danny Carpenter and Cindy Hoersten. Funeral service will be Thursday June 17th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 12-2. Burial in the Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Riley Hospital for Children.
