Helen Leber Hyatt, 96, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 in Toano, VA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Hyatt, Sr. and son-in-law, Arnold (Buddy) Burcham.
She was born and raised in Richmond, VA and graduated from John Marshall High School. A former sales representative for Dooney and Bourke, Helen was a member of York River Baptist Church here in Williamsburg. She enjoyed golfing, waterskiing, bingo, and visits to the casino in NJ.
Helen is survived by her sons, J. Daniel Cade (Alice), C. Gary Hyatt (Sarah), and Jesse L. Hyatt, Jr.; daughters, Victoria L. Burcham and Lisa C. Hyatt (Jon Beckner); grandchildren, Christopher D. Burcham, Jessica G. Burcham, Catherine G. Hyatt, Shannon C. Mills, and Joshua L. Hyatt; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild waiting to be born.
A service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA at 11:00AM.
