David Jackson Grant Sr.

David Jackson Grant, Sr., 68, of Madison Heights departed this life on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Shelby Smith Grant. Born in Lexington, Virginia on May 5, 1953 he was a son of the late Walter Grant and Maggie Grant. David was a construction worker all of his life and had many passions including working in his garden, hunting and fishing and was an avid nascar fan. He is survived by his children, Tina Wilson and Nancy Garland and her husband Dennis both of Madison Heights, David “Jack” Grant, Jr. of Spout Springs, Cindy Ray and her husband Jerry of Lynchburg and Kimberly Grant of Madison Heights; three siblings, Kenneth Grant and Calvin Grant and his wife Marie both of Madison Heights, and Becky Davis of Rustburg; six grandsons, two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
