Rose Marie O'Brien

Rose Marie O’Brien, 59 passed away Monday October 4, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Fort Wayne IN to late Marilyn Rose and Nils Hans Jensen, whom survives. She graduated from Snider High School in 1980, and earned her Bachelor’s from IPFW in 1985. She moved to Georgia in 1994 to be with her husband, Joseph F. O’Brien Jr. She became a mother in 1995. She returned to Fort Wayne with her daughter in 2019. Rose was a Case Worker for the Department of Family and Children Services for 11 years. Rose is survived by her daughter Cassandra Nicole O’Brien of Fort Wayne, IN; father Nils Hans Jensen of Fort Wayne, IN; brother Frank Reavis of Jacksonville, FL; brother Mike Reavis of Phoenix, AZ; sister Ellen Kaufman of Goshen, IN; brother Jason Jensen of Fort Wayne, IN Her mother, Marilyn Rose Jensen, preceded her in death. Her brother, David Reavis, preceded her in death. Memorial service will be 6pm Friday October 15, 2021 at D.O. McComb Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home 4017 Maplecrest Road Fort Wayne, IN. with visitation from 4-6 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Steuben County ASPCA.
