Edith M. Bowles

Edith M. Bowles, age 97, of Fremont, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021. Edith was born November 7, 1923. She was born in Sparta, Tennessee on November 7, 1923. She graduated from Sparta High School, and later married George Bowles on April 25, 1944. She was a homeowner, a true follower of Jesus Christ, and she loved her family. She loved going to church, crocheting, spending time with family and friends and helping others. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Amanda Davis, her husband George Bowles and her 2 children, Jo Hamilton and Roger Bowles, her 3 brothers; Clyde, John and Gene Davis. She is survived by her younger brother, Ardelle Davis (Marge), 3 grandchildren; Scott Bowles (Brenda), Mandy Bowles Mackenzie (Ricky), and Tyler Bowles, 7 great grandchildren; Austin Bowles, Shannon Bowles, Cody Mackenzie, Alexis Bowles, Allison Puslat, Brendon Mackenzie, and Logan Bowles, 6 great-great grandchildren; Bentley Bowles, Lydia Bowles, Charlee Canada, Ella Kiser, Grayson Puslat, and Milo Bowles, and many nieces and nephews who adored her. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral and Receptions, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, OH 45432. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at David's Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
