Obituary of Richard John Bronski
Richard J. Bronski of Waynesboro, VA Passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at his home. Born November 13, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a son of the late John H. and Florence M. Bronski. Survivors include his wife, Monica; daughter, Linda; son, Douglas (Tracy); and three grandchildren, Sydney, Jessica (Jessie) and Katherine (Katy). Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was Manager of Industrial Engineering at Acme Visible Records in Crozet, VA, owned, and operated the Subway Shop in Waynesboro until he retired in 2004. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Waynesboro VFW Post #2424. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 301 Sheppard Ct, Waynesboro with Rev. Rolo Castillo officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or a charity of your choice.
