Obituary of Dennis D. Lee
Dennis D. Lee, 69, of Columbia City, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at his home with family by his side. Born July 19, 1952 in Columbia City, Ind., he was a son of the late Lennis T. Lee and Donna Belle (Winebrenner) Cearbaugh. A graduate of Larwill High School, class of 1969, Dennis retired from CF Gomma, formerly known as Dana Corporation Weatherhead Division, after 30 years of service. He was formerly a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Columbia City, Ind., and currently a member in Syracuse, Ind. Dennis married the love of his life, Cindy, whom he loved unconditionally, on August 22, 1986. A jokester at heart, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He loved frequenting the casinos with his wife and vacationing as a family in Florida, Myrtle Beach, and Yellowstone National Park. Dennis treasured time spent with his grandchildren, children, and loving wife of 35 years; he will be greatly missed by them all. He is survived by his wife, Cindy L. (Beasley) Lee of Columbia City, Ind., children, Ryan (Anna) Lee of South Whitley, Ind., Holly Lee of Fort Wayne, and Amber (Jimmy) Linn of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Trey, Jordan, Layne, Makayla, and Javyn; great-granddaughter, Nora; and siblings, Kathie (Terry) Ward of Columbia City, Ind., Timmie Lee of Fort Wayne, Bonnie (Dick) Kirkwood of N. Manchester, Ind., Connie Akers of Syracuse, Ind., Demars “Toadie” Lee of Columbia City, Ind., and Mona (Roy) Maggert of Columbia City, Ind. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Kirkwood. Graveside Service is at noon on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Union Township Cemetery commonly known as Hope Lutheran Church Cemetery, 2001 S 500 E, Columbia City, Ind. (46725).
