Alden Dodge Rader, Jr.

Alden Dodge Rader, Jr., 75, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Tuesday November 9, 2021 at Augusta Health. Mr. Rader was born on Augusta 26, 1946 and was a son of the late Alden Dodge Rader Sr., and Louise Mary Elizabeth (Coyner) Rader. Dodge was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a Truck Driver for many years prior to his retirement. On December 26, 1981, he married the former Glenda Armentrout who survives. In addition to his wife, Mr. Rader is survived by his sons, Alden Dodge Rader, III and wife Stacey, Isaac Lewis Rader and wife Lindsey; and grandchildren, Natalie, Coley and Bailee Rader. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11 AM at Calvary United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at their home, 1752 Cold Springs Road, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477. All are welcomed to attend.
