Charles Irvin Barnett Jr.

Charles I. Barnett Jr., 86, of Mechanicsville, formerly of Short Pump, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene H. Barnett; and a son, Dennis I. Barnett. He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles H. and Judy Barnett; one daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Joe Dickenson; and four grandchildren, Amanda and Casey Barnett, Jason Marsh and A. J. Dickenson. Mr. Barnett served in the United States Army and was a charter member at Parham Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at the Parham Chapel Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd., and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday.
