Sharon Anders Allen

Sharon Anders Allen, of Madison Heights, passed away September 18, 2010. Born July 27, 1961, in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Commander Elwood Anders, USN, and is survived by her mother, Doris “Dot” Woody Cash. Survivors also include her brother, Theodore “Teddy” Macheras, of Madison Heights; her uncle, Robert F. Woody and wife Brenda, of Amherst, one niece, one nephew, three cousins, other relatives and many friends. Sharon was a lover of animals. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Amherst County Humane Society in her memory. The family will receive friends at the residence of her mother, 113 Winesap Road, in Madison Heights. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
