Katherine C Auten

Katherine C. Auten, 73, Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born November 28, 1937, in Kokomo, to Clarence and Alean Cornwell. She and her husband, Thomas Auten, had been married for 55 years. She was a member of the Franciscan order and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Rick (Mary) Auten, Thomas Auten, and James Auten; one sister, Joan Spencer; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one great-grandchild. A Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joan of Arc with Father David Huemmer officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
