Jessie Marie Moyers Bowman

Jessie Marie Bowman, 90 of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital. Jessie was born on February 11, 1921, in Annville, Ky. She was the daughter of Thomas and Fannie Mae Moyers. On June 29, 1944, she married Zach Bowman in Lexington, Ky. He preceded her in death in 1987. Jessie is survived by two sons: Edward (Alicia) Bowman and Douglas (Rose Anne) Bowman both of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Eric (Jamie) Bowman, Michelle (Nick) Biltz, Jon Bowman, David Bowman, and Tara Bowman; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Zach, sister Martha Ball, and two brothers Henry and Thomas Moyer. A visitation for family and friends will take place at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Friday, September 16 from 4PM-7PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17 at 10AM also at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Clarksburg Christian Church Building Fund or the Clarksburg Volunteer Fire Department.
