Richard Wilson Betsill
June 20, 1935 – May 17, 2012

Richard Wilson Betsill,76, of Stuarts Draft went home to be with the Lord
on Thursday, May 17,2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 20,1935 in Zanesville, Ohio, he was the son of James L. Betsill
and Sadie L. Wilson Betsill.
Mr.Betsill graduated from George Washington University and was employed
as Southern Area Sales Manager for Wise Foods,a division of Borden for 3o
years. He loved reading, drawing, walking, but most of all his family.
He is survived by his best friend and loving wife Carol Clemens Betsill.
His precious daughter Jennifer Betsill Slack and her husband Ken. Two grandchildren whom he loved dearly,Aaron James Slack and Julia Grace Slack.
Survivors also include his brother, James L. Betsill, with whom he had a close relationship and his wife Joan.A neice Melanie Tillery and a nephew David Betsill.A grand-nephew Jim Tillery and his wife Shawna.A sister-in-law that he loved to pick on; JoAnn McCutcheon and a 93 year old Mother-in-Law Mabel Clemens. A brother-in-law James Clemens and his wife Janice. Lastly, his 2 furry girls Cassie and Emmeline his faithful dogs.
Mr. Betsill was a member of White Hill Church of the Brethren in Stuarts Draft and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of
that church.
A celebration of Richard's life will be held Saturday, May 26,2012 at 11am
at White Hill Church on the Old White Hill Road, Stuarts Draft. Revs'James and David Chappell are in charge of the service.
