Albert "Gator" Bailey

Albert N. “Gator” Bailey, Jr., 65 years of age died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at his residence in New Albany, Indiana. He was born December 16, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Albert and Norma Bailey, Sr. Gator was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Coca-Cola after 37 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany and Wooded View Golf Course in Clarksville. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Bailey. Survivors include wife of 23 years, Pam Bailey; daughters, Julie Bates (Joseph), Erin Thomas (Bill Hoover), Megan Stewart (Lee); son, Sean Bailey (Dana); sisters, Deborah Weigleb (Dickie), Sherry Ryan (John), Pam Ricketts; grandchildren, Cory Hutchins, Madison Stewart, Nathan Bates, Hunter Hoover. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with entombment and military honors to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
