Lucille "Ceal" Byers

Lucille Virginia Byers, 70, of 1448 Stuarts Draft Highway, passed away at 11:15 PM Thursday, October 25, 2012 at her residence.
She was born September 21, 1942 in Staunton a daughter of the late Hugh Eldridge and Ruth Emore Agnor.
She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgeview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Betty Sue Agnor, sister, Mary McDorman and a brother, Luther Agnor.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Byers, two sons, Jody Byers and fiance’ Kathy Bennington of Radford, Troy Byers and his companion Angel Johnson of Stuarts Draft, a brother, Hugh E. Agnor and wife Doris of CT, two grandchildren, Amber Byers, Alisa Byers, adopted grandchildren, Brandie Blumenstein and husband Stephen, Hannah Jean Bennington, a great-granddaughter, Arabella Blumenstein, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
A service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 29, 2012 at Ridgeview Baptist Church by Pastor Don McClure. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
Active pallbearers will be Albert Conner, Paul Harris, Jr., Raymond Bennington, Wayne Pettway, Bob Suddarth, Jr. and Dale Moran.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 PM Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Stuarts Draft Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
