Patsy Confer

Patsy A. Confer, 80, of Ossian, passed away Sunday November 11, 2012. She was born on August 4, 1932 in Olney, Texas to the late Jesse B. and Clara B. (King) Scott. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fairview Church of God. She was involved in a number of fellowship organizations at church. She will be remembered as a longtime caregiver of family members, her extraordinary cooking skill with which she used at church, and her desire to be close to friends and family. Surviving family include her children, Beverly (Joe) Nay, Shari (Mark) Grandlienard, Barbara (Kelly) Duncan, Patrick (Sarah) Confer, Curt (Heather) Confer; 15 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren with one due in December. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, R. Dale Confer in 1992, and sisters, Juanita Hill and Dorthy Bates. A funeral service will be 10:30 am on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Visitation will also be from 4-8 pm on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adventures in Missions- Amy Duncan. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
