Ruth Ann Brown

Ruth Ann Brown, 84, of Greencastle passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was born on April 29, 1928 in Clinton, Indiana to Ralph Brown and Agnes Hawkins Brown. Ruth Ann was a graduate of Greencastle High School, and retired from the USDA office in Greencastle after 32 years of service. Surviving are her sisters, Mary Jo Tuttle and husband Maurice of Franklin, IN and Kathryn Hacker and husband Robert of Cloverdale; one niece, Alyssa Tuttle and husband Brad Gee of Stillwater, MN and one nephew, Brian Tuttle of Hampton, VA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1 P.M. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, with Dr. Bryan Palmer-Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11 A.M. until time of services. Memorials in Ruth Ann's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
