Obituary of Kay Corso Alexander
Kay Corso Alexander, 71, of Liberty, died Friday morning, February 8, 2013, at her residence. A native of Hamilton, Ohio, Kay was born August 1, 1941 to John J. and Marcella J. Kennedy Corso. She was a graduate of Talawanda High School and had attended Miami University, both in Oxford, Ohio. She had been self-employed, cleaning area offices and businesses. On November 26, 1990, she was married in Clearwater, Florida to James H. Alexander, Jr. who died July 19, 2012. Kay was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed upholstering and gardening. Kay is survived by her sons and their spouses: Kurt Bruder and Beth of Alpharetta, Georgia; Craig Bruder and Holly of Oxford, Ohio; her step-children and their spouses: Dona Miller of Albany, Georgia; James Horner Alexander III of Macon, Georgia; Mitchell Alexander and Sheila of Cobb, Georgia; Lee Alexander and Joanna of Marshall, Texas; Joshua Alexander and Mindy of Asheville, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Rebecca, Kelsey, Keaton, Meghan and Aidan Bruder; six step-grandchildren; seven siblings and their spouses: Mick Corso and Sandy of Bradenton, Florida; Jack Corso and Marge of Oxford, Ohio; Pat Brindle of Hamilton, Ohio; Mary Gabbard and Gordon of Millville, Ohio; Colleen Witter and Joe of Liberty; Judy Riegler and Bill of Hamilton, Ohio; Pam Neihoff and Ben of Oxford, Ohio; her sister-in-law: Marge Corso of Oxford, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Kay was preceded in death by a brother: Morry Corso. Memorial services will be conducted at the convenience of the family following cremation.
