Rosa Thelma Norris
November 5, 1918 – March 4, 2013

Rosa Thelma Norris, 94, of Columbus, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Mrs. Norris worked for General Motors in Bedford for over 30 years. She was a member of Bedford Free Methodist Church and United Auto Workers and enjoyed reading and sewing.
A private graveside service will be conducted Friday at Sonora Cemetery in Sonora, Ky. There will be no calling.
Arrangements were made by Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Born in Sonora Nov. 5, 1918, Mrs. Norris was the daughter of Alvin and Addie Lee Kinkade Meers.
Survivors include a son, Rondell (Teresa) Norris of Columbus; grandsons, Adam Norris of Brownsburg, IN, and Kyle (Amy) Norris of Dickinson, ND; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alva Meers, who was killed in World War II.
