Betty Jo Borum

Betty Jo Borum, 82, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 11, 2013, at the Heritage Center in Evansville, IN. She was born March 24, 1930 in Evansville. She worked at Bristol Myers for 38 ½ years. Betty Jo was a Trustee and Deacon for Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Fountain Avenue where she also sang in the choir. She was a member of the VFW 1114 Ladies Auxiliary and Clabber Club. Betty Jo loved to read. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Borum and parents, Joseph and Esther Hisch. Betty Jo is survived by daughters, Brenda Lee Thomas, Evansville, Donna Andrews, Stanberry, MO; sister, Sharon Lewis, Mt. Vernon, IN; brother, Gary Hisch, Independence, MO; grandchildren, Stephanie Thomas, Chad and Adam Andrews; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be 10:00AM, Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday, March 13, 2013, from 3:00PM until 7:00PM and Thursday from 9:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
