OBITUARY
Francis C. Bischoff
July 31, 1926 – March 16, 2013
Francis Christian Bischoff passed into eternal life on Saturday March 16, 2013 in Orlando, Florida. He was born on July 31, 1926 in Philadelphia Pa. and had lived in Norfolk, Va. and Orlando, Fl.
He was a Veteran of WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Navy retiring with the rank of Master Chief Boatswain’s Mate.
Francis was predeceased by his loving wife Jane (Ryan), his daughter Maureen Therese, his son Robert Paul, and brother Robert “Gus”.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Francis Jr. “Chris”, Jane McKay, Margaret Saccone and George. His Grandchildren Paul Bischoff, Marney McKay-Meyer (Jerry Meyer), Logan McKay, Lindsay Saccone and Vincent Saccone. Very special adopted grandsons Fred and Dan Snyder. Surviving are his brothers Joseph (Helen) and David (Mary Kessler), his sisters Winifred Sontag, Barbara Kenney (Frank), Agnes Burns (Joseph), Pat Proses (Charles), and Mary Conway (Al Cowling). Also cherished in memory by many nieces and nephews in both the Bischoff and Ryan Families.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013, from 4 to 8 pm at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, 818 Norview Ave., Norfolk, Va. A scripture service will be held on Monday at 9am with burial following at the National Cemetery in Hampton Va. A future memorial Mass and celebration of life will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando, Fl.
