Gerald Arthur Greenwood
December 22, 1921 – August 20, 2013

Gerald A. Greenwood, 91, of Williamsburg, was surrounded by loving family when he passed to his eternal home on Tuesday, August 20.
Mr. Greenwood proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a civil engineer for the World Bank.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marjory Arlene; sons, Mervin Greenwood and Lonald Greenwood (Alice); daughters, Janice Greenwood, Wanda Comeaux (Toby) and Cheryl Peak (Brian); grandchildren, Jesse Greenwood, Derek Greenwood, JaLyn Tiffany, Shannon Ritter, Travis Greenwood, Matthew Greenwood, Rebecca Peak, Sarah Stevenson, Amanda Greenwood, Melissa Sessoms; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Friday, August 23 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg. A memorial service will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Rd., Williamsburg on Saturday, August 24 at 1pm. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park. His beloved wife, Marjory Arlene, will celebrate their 67th anniversary on Saturday as he is laid to rest.
