Wilford Scott

Wilford Scott, 89, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Cypress Grove. He was born August 12, 1924, in Evansville, to the late Carl and Marie (Finley) Scott. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in WWII, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the American Legion, Owls and VFW #6576. Wilford was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jessie; and sisters, Lucille Hawkins and Bea Garten. He is survived by his son, Randy Scott of Carmi, IL; daughter, Tiana (Rick) Tindle of Evansville; four grandchildren; sister, Ernestine Pruitt of Cynthiana; brother, Kenny (Sharon) Scott of Evansville; and several nieces and nephews.
