Marguerite L. Myers

Marguerite L. Myers, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away October 29, 2013. She was born March 3, 1924 the daughter of Edgar and Margaret Sellmeyer. Marguerite was a graduate from St. Mary’s Academy and worked as a secretary for U.S. Rubber Co. and later for John E. Smith Co. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, and active in the K of C Senior Group and Chi Tau Alpha Sorority. Marguerite is survived by her loving daughter: Patricia Scanlon Diaz, sister: Eileen McMahon, 3 grandchildren: Jennifer Walsh Hawks, Brigid Walsh and Kelly Walsh and 4 great grandchildren: Avery, Jermiah, Izra and Miriam. She is preceded in death by her parents and husbands: Joseph P. Scanlon and Frank J. Myers. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 4, 10:00 am in Christ the King Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to Mass at Church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society. Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary is entrusted with arrangements.
