Joan M. Ramsey

Joan M. Ramsey 87, of Indianapolis passed away on November 1, 2013. She was born on November 7, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan to Edward A. and Julia M. (Mullin) Murphy. She worked at Winona Memorial Hospital as the gift shop manager until her retirement in 1995. Joan is survived by her daughters Kathleen Quinn (John) Young, Karen Quinn (Dan) Folzenlogel, Julianne Ramsey Bidwell, 4 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and 5 nieces. She is preceded in death by her son Joseph P. Quinn, and sister Delores Richart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 5 at 11 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with visitation from 9 – 11 am. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials in Joan’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
