Barbara Ann Ingram

Barbara Ann Ingram, 82, of Columbus, died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Barbara attended Shrine of the Little Flower High School in Royal Oak, Mich., and Michigan State University in East Lansing. A homemaker, she attended St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds and following and watching all sports, especially tennis. Funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street, with Father Doug Marcotte officiating. Calling will be from noon until service time Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bartholomew County Humane Society. She married John Edward Ingram Feb. 26, 1955, in Oakland County, Mich. He preceded her in death Dec. 15, 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Ingram of Columbus; a son, John William Ingram of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and her faithful friend, Mr. Jingles.
