Nancy L. Tryon Adams

Nancy L. Tryon Adams, 77, formerly of Connersville, died Sunday evening, January 26, 2014, in Holland, Michigan. She was born in Connersville on April 11th, 1936 to Evan and Wilma Revalee Tryon and graduated from Connersville High School. Nancy had also lived in Franklin before moving to Holland, Michigan. She enjoyed her family, the cooking channel, and the companionship of her dog, Bubbles. Nancy is survived by her children: Robin Revalee of Connersville; Michael Huffman and his wife, Annie of London, Ohio; Gordon Adams and his wife Sherry of Harrison, Ohio; Nancy Thompson, Kelly Sander, Lori Brewer and her husband, Larry, all of Hamilton, Ohio. She is also survived by her brother: Charles Tryon of Mantera, California and her sister: Betty Bain of Holland, Michigan; former spouse: Luther Adams of Connersville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother: Gail Tryon and her sister: Priscilla McHaffie. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with Pastor John Reynolds of Calvary Baptist Church , officiating. Interment will follow in Dale Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday where memorial contributions may be given to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
