Frances Agnes Vaughn

Frances Agnes Vaughn, 96, of Zionsville departed this life Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born June 29, 1917 in Indianapolis to the late Frank J. and Marie A. (Albright) Feist. Frances was a graduate of St. John High School. She was a longtime, dedicated member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Fran was a former member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and their Women’s Altar Society, and St. Luke Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas L. Vaughn; son, Thomas L. Vaughn, Jr.; two brothers and one sister. Frances is survived by her children, Richard D. (Debi) Vaughn, Janice M. (Joe) Stetzel and Carol A. (Bob) Patterson; sisters-in-law, Eileen Priest and Rita Vaughn; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22nd from 9:30am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Entombment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Society of St. Vincent de Paul or to Special Olympics of Indiana. Fran’s family is especially grateful for the wonderful care that she received from Visiting Angels, Southern Hospice Care and Zionsville Meadows.
