John H. Campbell

John H. Campbell, 67, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway. He was born April 10, 1946, in University Park, TX to the late John H. and Roberta (Lent) Campbell. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and member of Bethel United Church of Christ, and was the past president of the Downtown Optimist Club, where he held various offices. He was also an avid gardener. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Robin (Tom) Newport; brother, Mark L. (Scarlet) Campbell; nieces and one nephew.
