Marshall P Gordon

Dr. Marshall Peterson Gordon III “Pete” 71, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 14, 2014. He was born to the late Marshall and Gladys Gordon on May 29, 1942 in Richmond, Virginia. Pete was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School, University of Richmond, and the Medical College of Virginia. He practiced dentistry for forty years in the Richmond area. He was a charter member of Reveille United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran. He belonged to the Richmond Dental Society, Virginia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Western Henrico Rotary Club, and Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Pete is survived by his wife of 49 years Brenda Wade Gordon, his children Daniel Scott Gordon ( Julie), and Kendall Gordon Nichols ( Nathan), two grandchildren Emily Campbell Gordon and Ryan Tate Gordon, his sister Jean Gordon McDonald ( Jim). The family will receive friends at the Woody Funeral Home 1771 N Parham Rd on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 3:00pm at Reveille United Methodist Church preceded by a private interment.
