Obituary of Linda Sue Conner
Linda Sue Conner, 63, Indianapolis and formerly of Kokomo, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014, at her home. She was born February 27, 1951, in Kokomo, to Ethel Tate. She was joined together with Rex Conner in 1974, and they married March 1, 1985. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2001. She worked at General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening and was a member of UAW Local 292. She is survived by her son Paul (Amy) Barber, Indianapolis; son-in-law, Jim Hubbard, Kokomo; grandchildren, Zach, Cody, and Kasey Hubbard, and Krista Barber; great-grandchildren, Tyler Hubbard, Cooper Huddleston, Camdyn Hubbard, Lily Anna Barber, and Brayton Waldron; her father, Jim Pascall, Kokomo; brothers, Ron Seabolt, and Howard Pascall; sisters, Sharon (Ron) Wolfe, and Betty (Ron) Reinhardt; special family member, Tammy Wolff; and special family friend, Doug Bitner. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother and daughters, LeeAnn Hubbard and Michelle Barber. She spent her final two months of life in the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Indianapolis where she enjoyed unlimited coffee, cokes, and ice cream. Her final days here, she was safe, loved, and happy. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to her caretaker, Lucinda Williams, and Southern Care Hospice nurse Amy. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
