Anna Jane Link, 81, a resident of Bridgewater passed away peacefully on December 14, 2014 at Bridgewater Retirement Community surrounded by her family. She will always live in our memories and hearts as the gentle, generous and caring person she was.
She was born on March 15, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Elwood R. Link, Sr. and Mary Alexander Link.
Anna Jane graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1950. She was employed for 40 plus years at the Staunton Health Department before retiring and was a member of Pleasant Grove Victory Chapel.
Anna Jane enjoyed life, time with family and friends. She also enjoyed basketball, piano, traveling and taking care of her mother and father until their passing.
She is survived by a sister, JoAnn Stack and husband, Pete, of Pennsylvania; a brother, E. R. Link, Jr. and wife, Helen, of Bridgewater; brother-in-law, Henry Moffett; numerous nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and great-great- nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Sue Link Huffman and Betty Lou Link Moffett; and a niece, Bobby Jean Huffman Frindt.
The family will receive friends 5-7:00 pm, Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Weyers Cave. Funeral services will be private.
