Doris L. Harrison

Doris L. Harrison, 91, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the home of her son in Chesterfield, Virginia. Doris was a lifelong Peninsula resident and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and worked at Nolands Plumbing until retirement. She is now joined with her beloved husband, Nelson (Spunky) Harrison. Doris is survived by her son, W. Howard Barnes and his wife, Maryann Barnes of Chesterfield, Virginia; two granddaughters, Mandy Mauricio of Hampton, Virginia and Samantha Barnes of Colonial Heights, Virginia; two great-grandsons, Bradyn and Easton; and her brother, William Foster of Gloucester, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 12 at the Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with entombment to follow.
