Chloe Jane Mount

Chloe Jane Mount, 71, of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Union Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on September 29, 1946, in Terre Haute to Norman and Mildred (Bedwell) Auterson. Chloe is survived by her son, David Mount and wife Kimberly of Terre Haute; grandsons, Josh Auterson and his wife Arna; Elijah Mount and Xavier Mount; great-grandsons, Augie and Beckham; brother, Norman Auterson; sisters, Betty Schimmel and husband Don, Janet Sontag and husband Larry, Jackie Rainey, and Terry Sullivan; and life-long friend, Bill Mount. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jess Cornwell and Herschel Davis; and sons, Larry Auterson and Kenny Mackey. Chloe worked for many years and retired from Aramark. After retirement, she stayed busy by helping with her grandsons and granddog. Chloe cherished the time she spent with her family. She will be truly missed. A Celebration of Chloe’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 11 from noon until 2 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home.
