Fred Vernon Bartram

Fred Vernon Bartram, Sr., 88, returned to his heavenly home on October 17, 2017.
Fred was born in Aflex, Kentucky on January 16th, 1929. He was the youngest son of the late James Blain and Dollie Mae Webb Bartram. He met and married Anni Charmaine Corneli in Germany on January 2nd, 1956. After retiring from dedicated careers with the US Armed Forces and the US Capitol Police Force, Fred made his home of 25 years in Kempner, Texas. He was an active member of the community and Holy Family Catholic Church of Copperas Cove, as well as a Knight of the 4th degree with the Knights of Columbus' local assembly.
Fred was known by his loved ones as a man of fun-loving spirit and quiet dignity. He is dearly missed by friends and family alike, who celebrate the life he led and the cherished memories he left in his wake.
Fred is survived by his children, Loretha Mae, Anna Maria, Lisa Charmaine, Fred Vernon, Jr., Dolly Monique, and Joseph Samuel; his 13 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Anni; 1 son 6 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd. Arlington Virginia 22203
on December 6th from 6- 9pm
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church December 7th 2017 at 11:00 am at 5300 N. 10th St. Arlington, VA 22205
Interment December 8th 2017 at 9:15 am Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA 22211
